‘Come to the Well’ Quiet Day

On Saturday, 24 February, there will be a quiet day at St Georges’ Church and the title is ‘Come to the Well’. Advent Labyrinth 2017 – Extra Opening Times

The Advent Labyrinth at St George’s Weald has extended its run, being open now on Friday morning, 8 December 2017, from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and Friday evening, 8 December, from 6.00 to 8.00 pm. The theme is ‘Angels of the Lord’ and it offers a chance for some precious stillness, peace and reflection in the midst of all the Christmas rush. Everyone is welcome – please do give it a try!

Advent Labyrinth Update

Weald Community Shop and Cafe

As you will know, the Weald Community Shop and Cafe has been up and running since the beginning of August and doing a fantastic job. Until recently, it didn’t have a base to call its own, using the Memorial Hall and St George’s Church Hall and Rooms at various points as the weeks went by. Great news, though – on 20 September the shop opened up in its new home, The Cabin, a converted shipping container situated next to the Memorial Hall. The shop and cafe is run by volunteers, headed up by Ian and Linda Walker, and is open every day from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon.
